-
Where are the products made?
All products are hand made on the Sunshine Coast,
Queensland, Australia under the strictest hygiene and handling conditions using
purified water and in filtered air conditions.
-
Does the product use only natural
ingredients?
Yes the product is actually 82% organic (but we cannot promote this fact until we are 100% andcertified) and all
ingredients are either natural or derived from natural (vegetable and plant ) or mineral sources. In the 21st Century, conscious and aware organisations don't test on animals and in our case we do not use any by-products from animals which have been killed to supply meat, fats or oils.
-
Does the product contain any petro-chemical
products like parabens?
No it does not. It is entirely free of parabens. As one of our preservation bases we use an organic chemical compound preservative derived from coconut oil, widely used as the preservative in vaccines and Potassium Sorbate which
comes from the Mountain Ash Tree. Both of these combined offer maximum protection for the user from microbial and fungicidal attack. Percentages are finely balanced to ensure maximum efficacy with minimum content. We have found the use of citrus based preservatives can in some cases reduce the purity of a product by supporting a high microbial environment.
-
Does the product contain any SLS – sodium
laurel sulphate?
No it does not.
-
What is the frangipani?
This is a fragrant tropical flower
containing 5 petals which grows widely throughout the tropics of Australia and originated from Central America. It evokes a sense of security and well being.
6. What is
white ginger?
Again it is the fragrant tropical flower from
several ginger plants which grow in the Australian tropics. Ginger is traditionally recognised as having a balancing affect on both the internal and external.

What is Kakadu Plum?
The little green Kakadu Plum has been used for
centuries by Australian Aboriginals and has the highest naturally occurring
Vitamin C on any known fruit. The extract from the plums used in the Rainforest
range are wild harvested by Aboriginal Communities across the Top End and North
West of Australia.
-
Do these Communities benefit directly from
the sale of this product?
Yes they do – this is what is known as Community
Trade. The more Kakadu Plum extract we use in our range the more raw plum we
need.
-
What is Vitamin C good for?
It is widely known as a powerful antioxidant and
when it is naturally occurring, in the case of the Kakadu Plum it becomes a
very potent source of antioxidants.
-
So what does the Plum extract do
for the skin?
It conditions the skin and helps to keep it
looking young. When used in hair products the concentrated VitC literally
‘zaps’ the hair follicles back into good health. It is very good for helping to
remove dry and scaly scalp. Some people even use the shampoo on their dogs to help remove what is know in these parts as Queensland Itch - dry patches on the dogs skin as a result of mosquito or flea bites or a dry climate.
-
What about Quandong..what is this ?
Quandong is another indigenous fruit harvested by
local people. It is also known as the ‘Native Peach Fruit’ and is very high in
essential fatty acids (EFA’s) which enrich skin, nurturing natural growth of
collagen, aiding in a more elastic and firmer looking skin.
-
What is collagen?
Collagen is the support
structure for skin, giving skin its resilience. It lies just beneath the outer
layer, or epidermis, of the skin and is made up of a network of fibers that
provides a framework for the growth of cells and blood vessels.
13. What is Native White
Spider Essence?
Flower essences are becoming more widely accepted
and used in ranges of skin care products. This particularly essence provides an
‘uplifting sense of purpose’.
14. What is Shea butter?
The Shea fruit consists of a thin, tart, nutritious pulp that
surrounds a relatively large, oil-rich seed from which is extracted shea butter. Shea Butter has been used for centuries in Africa
because of its amazing moisturizing and healing properties.
15. What is cocoa butter?
Cocoa butter is the natural fat extracted from the cacao bean and is
renowned for its moisturizing abilities and it promotes elasticity in the skin and will aid
in the healing of chapped skin if it is used regularly.
16. Does the skin loose its moisture very easy?
Yes it does and where there is dry or poor air or polluted air such as city
traffic fumes, the skin works overtime as the body’s largest organ to remain in
good health. It is therefore very important to moisturize the skin both
internally by drinking up to 2 litres of water daily and applying chemical free
moisturizing product to re-nourish and enrich the skin so it may grow healthy
cells.
